I've been a product designer for the past 12 years. I've worked for startups, non-profits, and design agencies all the way up to larger tech companies like Shopify. I currently work for the dating app Hinge. You can read more about my career on LinkedIn.Portfolio available upon request.

Hinge is built on the belief that anyone looking for love should be able to find it. Our goal is to help you go on dates in real-life to help you find your person. I joined the team as the first lead designer and have touched almost every part of the app in my 4 years.

Relay was a safety app that allowed anyone in the US to send in non-emergencies directly to the nearest first responders in their area. I designed the entire product. I also help design the brand, websites, and marketing materials. With my designs, we raised a seed round and grew our user base to 20k.

The Spiritual Fitness app is a daily spiritual rhythm made just for the every day Christian. Each day, the app walks with you as you: reflect on scripture, pause for a moment of prayer, think how you can live out what you've learned. I was the contract designer that helped them launch their first iOS and Android apps.

High Alpha is a venture firm located in Indianapolis. They start and fund B2B tech companies. I was on their internal design team before joining Relay. I helped design and build MVPs for startups Anvl, Docket, Relay, and Casted.

High Alpha was the perfect spot for me to land after coming back from Canada. High Alpha sat right at the intersection of Midwest tech and venture capital, and gave me a great mix of agency-style work and early-stage startup energy. I was doing fast, high-polish vision UI for pitch decks, then digging into the user experience and strategy after to create a thoughtful experience. I loved that kind of flow. One of the best parts was their sprint weeks. Everyone would pause normal work to focus on new product ideas for a full week. At the end, if an idea looked strong, it got funding and we’d immediately jump into designing and building an MVP. That’s how I ended up as the founding designer on Relay, it one of the ideas that came out of a sprint week and I got excited about it and joined the team.

I worked on the Access Control team at Shopify Plus helping make commerce better for Shopify's largest merchants.

For a summer, I assisted the Nextech team by teaching the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and UX design to Indianapolis high school students. Helped redesign the Nextech website and roadmap for future web projects.

Mavenly was a Shopify digital agency that helped grow and scale apps for other businesses. We also built our own Shopify apps along the way. I was the sole product designer designing these Shopify apps.

Adproval was a marketplace that connected bloggers and social media influencers with brands. Initially, the platform focused on bloggers, providing a widget for them to manage and price their own ad slots. Over time, it expanded to include broader social media promotion.

My friend and I started a web design and video production business. We worked with local businesses and organizations in our college town. Not much money was made but so many lessons were learned!
